Hair Loss Treatment - Laser Hair & Scalp Comb

The Laser Hair & Scalp Comb has three functions:

Stimulation

The Laser Hair & Scalp Comb massages the scalp to activate cells and encourage dormant hair follicles to start producing new growth.

Laser Light Therapy

The laser light therapy of the Laser Hair & Scalp Comb, stimulates the red blood supply to the scalp. This will kill bacteria, attacking and breaking down the nucleic acid enzyme rapidly. Used together with the impulse probes, it will clear the hair follicles of any bacteria and leave healthier hair follicles. The Laser Hair & Scalp Comb uses Class 1M lasers.

Infrared Activation

The 14 infrared low-level cold lights use light therapy to activate the cells and stimulate growth. It will encourage the production of new cells and the shedding of old ones.

Principle of Hair Growth

The Laser Hair & Scalp Comb can stop or reverse the cycle of follicles shrinking and dying by stimulating the follicle and the production of living cells in the hair root that eventually make up the hair shaft. Living cells thrive in light and your hair is no different. Scientific studies on cell cultures have shown that laser light energy penetrates soft tissue and increases the action of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule that is a major carrier of energy from one reaction site to another in all living cells. The most common example of light converting into chemical energy is photosynthesis, where plants are fed via light converted into chemical energy to improve and speed up growth. The Laser Hair & Scalp Comb works in the same way, by improving and speeding up hair growth and revitalising, thickening and strengthening your existing hair.

In addition, it will encourage an increase in blood flow to the capillaries of the hair root, delivering more nutrients to the living cells that create the hair shaft. This increased blood flow also carries away more waste products that can result in diminishing effects of DHT* on the hair follicles and therefore prevent them from shrinking and dying.

*Men suffering from androgenetic alopecia have elevated levels of a chemical called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in their scalp. DHT is a by-product of the male hormone testosterone, which is responsible for masculine characteristics. When testosterone gets converted to DHT, the result is hair loss.

Technical Parameters

The Laser Hair & Scalp Comb has three functions Stimulation, Laser Light Therapy and Infrared Activation.

Stimulation: in the treatment of some complicated conditions, especially hair loss, the stimulation function of the impulse probes can have an amazing effect. It generates micro-electricity to activate cells and hair follicles.

Laser Light Therapy: stimulates the blood supply to the scalp. This will kill bacteria, attacking and breaking down the nucleic acid enzyme rapidly. Used together with the impulse probes it will clear the scalp of any bacteria and leave healthier hair follicles. The additional supply of red blood cells brings oxygen and nutrients to the scalp area. It stimulates the scalp and promotes blood circulation, which will help to create a healthy environment for hair to grow. Without a good blood circulation, the hair follicles will shrink and die. Hair may appear thicker, fuller and healthier. The ergonomic design of the unit means that no hair cells are missed during treatment.

Infrared: The 14 infrared low-level cold lights use light therapy to activate the cells and stimulate growth. It will encourage the production of new cells and the shedding of old ones.

Directions

Connect recharging cradle using the adaptor provided a green light will show on the cradle.

Place the Laser Hair & Scalp Comb handset into the base station a red light will show on the cradle. (Please ensure the handset is correctly placed in the base station) If the handset does not need further charging then the light will remain green.

Once the Laser Comb handset is fully charged the green light will show.

Once charged and ready for use, remove the handset from the cradle.

Press the on/off key to start the treatment. All three functions are activated Stimulation, Laser and Infrared.

The plus and minus button on the handset will increase or decrease the strength of the treatment. When the plus button is pressed it will flash to indicate that an increase in strength has been selected.

Place the Laser Comb over the chosen area for treatment and hold against the area for 5-10 seconds.

Move the Laser Comb approximately 1 cm and then hold against the area for 5-10 seconds.

Carry on repeating 8 until the whole treatment area has been covered.

Usage: 10 to 15 minutes each treatment, 3 times per week.

Tips

This product can be used on a daily basis for an indefinite period

Do not use for other purposes for head use only

Do not use at the same time as other electrical appliances

Do not direct the lights or laser towards the face or eyes

Do not dismantle the unit

Make sure your hands are dry before using this unit

Contra-indications

DO NOT USE this device if:

You have a pace-maker or similar device.

You are being treated for any of the following conditions: hypersensitivity and malignant tumour, heart disease, hypertension, hypotension, pregnancy.

You are under 12 years of age.
