A Transplant ConsultationThe Free, no obligation, consultation lasts approximately ¾ hour. It is important that we allow you enough time so that by the time you leave you will have a good knowledge of the subject and be able to make a sensible decision on whether a hair transplant or other form of treatment is for you. Whether to have hair transplant is an important decision for you to make and is one that should not be rushed. A medical history is taken the scalp is examined and the various options are described. A detailed description is given explaining fully how a hair transplant is carried out. It will be explained how you will look immediately after the treatment, how long the hair will take to grow, you will be shown before and after photographs of past patients and prices will be discussed. Any questions will be answered. Arrangements will be made to meet the surgeon and you can leave knowing that you have all the information you need. A Trichological ConsultationA trichological consultation will take half an hour. During this time you will be questioned on various factors including your health history, your medication intake, your stress levels, your diet habits, your hair care routine and your family hair history. Your symptoms of hair loss (link to hair loss) and/or scalp irritation (link to scalp conditions) will be noted. A close examination of your hair and scalp will then take place. High magnification is used so that it is clear to see if hair follicles are alive and active or have been damaged. Also, the diameter of the hair shafts will be assessed under high magnification and your scalp will be illuminated to aid diagnosis of any scalp problems. A diagnosis is usually reached on your first visit and how your hair and/or scalp problem occurred will be discussed with you in full. Trichological treatment recommendations will be made on the day and dispensed to you straight away if you wish. A Wig Design ConsultationHeather Morris is considered one of the most talented hair designers working today, taking referrals from Harley Street clinics and top Trichologists. During a private consultation you can discuss your requirements and examine samples of the fine designs. The appointment last between 45-60 minutes. Heather will discuss with you the appropriate service such as Made to Measure or a Ready Made. Talk to you about the colour and cut you want as well as your lifestyle and easy of care for the hair replacement.
